]]> Make these Easter candy jar vases as part of your bright spring decor or use them as table centerpieces. This is an easy and creative craft that only takes a few minutes to make. These add just the perfect touch of color to your Easter decor.

You’ll need:

  • Mason jars
  • Cardboard tubes
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Easter candy – chocolate eggs or jelly beans.
  • Flowers- real or artificial (optional)
Materials to make Easter candy jars including candy, mason jars, ribbon, scissors, flowers and cardboard tubes.

Easter Candy Jar Vases

Grab all your supplies. Make sure your mason jars are washed and dried before you start. Next, take a cardboard tube and cut it so that it fits inside the mason jar. You can also use toilet paper rolls but make sure you’re not eating candy after you use those, because of cross contamination. The cardboard tubes are great because they leave space for flowers and you use less candy to fill the jars (more for you to eat!)

  • Empty mason jar and cardboard tube.
  • Placing a cut carboard tube inside the mason jar.

Start filling your mason jar with your Easter candy. We used chocolate eggs and honestly, I was afraid we wouldn’t have enough because the kids kept trying to eat them! You may need to hold your cardboard tube as you start but eventually the candy will hold the tube in place.

Continue filling your mason jar until the candy covers the cardboard tube and there is candy to the top.

Do the same for any other mason jar vases you have.

Take your fresh flowers and cut the stem so that it fits nicely inside the cardboard tube. You can use artificial flowers too. And if you want your Easter candy vases to last longer this is a good idea because the fresh flowers won’t last long without water.

Take ribbon or scrap fabric and wrap it around the neck of your mason jar.

  • A piece of lace ribbon.
  • Tying a piece of ribbon around the mason jar neck.

And you’re done!

You can also take out the flowers and just use the candy jars as decor.
