• Canvas Makeup bags (I bought a bulk pack off Amazon)
• Cricut Machine
• Cricut Smart Iron On in Gold
• Weeding Tools
• Iron or Cricut Easypress

DIY Personalized Makeup Bag

Measure the front of the makeup bag and decide how big you want your name to be. Open Cricut Design Space and add the text box. Adjust the font and size (I used Bright Morning font.)

Next click “make it” and ensure Mirror is ON and that the iron-on material is FACE DOWN (shiny side down).

Once the cut is complete remove the excess vinyl leaving the name on the iron-on paper.

Heat your iron or Cricut EasyPress (I don’t have an easy press so if you’re using an iron be extra careful and check the iron-on frequently) Position your name onto the canvas bag

Use your iron to press down firmly for a few minutes.

Wait for the iron-on to cool and remove the film carefully, and your name will remain on the make-up bag!

It’s really that simple to make. This is one of my favorite crafts to make and gift because I love seeing reactions from friends after receiving a personalized makeup bag.

You can leave the back of the makeup bag blank or add any special things like important dates or symbols.
