<p class="has-medium-font-size">Have you tried 3D printing yet? I could go on for hours about how cool 3D printing is and how many things you can build using pieces of plastic! These DIY organizers for Ikea drawers were made by our 3D printer machine and they’re the perfect customizable print for any drawer.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><a href="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_19.jpg"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1200" height="1600" src="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_19.jpg" alt="3d printed organizers with office supplies." class="wp-image-3776" srcset="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_19.jpg 1200w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_19-225x300.jpg 225w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_19-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_19-1152x1536.jpg 1152w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></a></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Materials Needed</h3>

<li class="has-medium-font-size"><a href="https://amzn.to/3HU1cAp" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Creality Ender 3v2 Printer</a></li>

<li class="has-medium-font-size"><a href="https://amzn.to/4bzNWOQ" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">PLA plastic</a></li>

<li class="has-medium-font-size">Print file (grab a free one from <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4774688" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Thingieverse</a>)</li>
</ul>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><a href="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_1.jpg"><img decoding="async" width="1200" height="1600" src="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_1.jpg" alt="3d printed organizers in an ikea Alex drawer." class="wp-image-3777" srcset="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_1.jpg 1200w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_1-225x300.jpg 225w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_1-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diy_drawer_organizer_1-1152x1536.jpg 1152w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></a></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">DIY Organizers for Ikea Drawers</h3>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">The great thing about this print is that the file is a universal and can be adjusted to fit most drawers. There is even a bottomless version (which is what we chose) that uses less filament and is faster to make.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Start by exporting your print file into a slicing program such as <a href="https://slic3r.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Slic3r</a> and adjusting to your drawers. These fit our Ikea Alex Drawer perfectly and we didn’t need to adjust the parameters.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Then create a Gcode (this is the instructions for your printer) and set up your choice of filament and let your printer do the work! The printer will create your organizers layer by layer. Once started, each print takes about 1.5 hours or you can print multiples at the same time.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Once printing is done you just have to remove DIY organizers from the printing bed and set them up in your drawers.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">3D Printing is a great way to imagine and create what you need for your home. These diy organizers can be any color or shape so you can make whatever suits your style and needs.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Makeup organizers don’t have to be expensive! Make your own by upcycling tin cans and using scrap fabric. This project only takes a few minutes so you’ll be able to display your makeup brushes, lipsticks or liners right on your vanity or bathroom sink in no time.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" width="1000" height="1500" src="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-pin-1.png" alt="gold makeup organizers filled with makeup." class="wp-image-1428" srcset="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-pin-1.png 1000w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-pin-1-200x300.png 200w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-pin-1-683x1024.png 683w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-pin-1-768x1152.png 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">DIY Makeup Organizers</h3>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Tin can projects are one of my favourites. They’re budget friendly and you can get creative making organizers, vases, utensil holders or planters. For this you&#8217;ll need:</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Materials Needed</h3>

<li class="has-medium-font-size"><a href="https://amzn.to/3ym1zlK" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Fabric</a> (large scraps, I got mine from the dollar store)</li>

<li class="has-medium-font-size"><a href="https://amzn.to/44G9u9J" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Hot glue gun and glue sticks</a></li>

<li class="has-medium-font-size"><a href="https://amzn.to/3R9OKlh" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Scissors</a></li>
</ul>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full is-resized"><img decoding="async" width="1350" height="1000" src="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-1.jpg" alt="Materials needed for make up organizers including tin cans, fabric, scissors and hot glue." class="wp-image-1430" style="width:842px;height:623px" srcset="https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-1.jpg 1350w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-1-300x222.jpg 300w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-1-1024x759.jpg 1024w, https://rekindlemydwelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/diy-makeup-organizers-1-768x569.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1350px) 100vw, 1350px" /></figure>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Start off making your makeup organizers by making sure your tin cans are clean and have no sharp edges. Measure the fabric around your tin can and cut the piece you need.</p>
