How to Make a No-Sew Tshirt Bag

Lay your tshirt down on a flat surface and start by cutting the sleeves along the armhole.

Since my shirt had buttons I chose not to cut the neckband. This part will be the handles.

Cut evenly sized strips along the entire length of the bottom opening.

At this point I turned the cut shirt inside out (you don’t have to turn your tshirt inside out if you don’t mind the knots at the bottom of the bag, but I wanted to hide mine.) Then I started tying double knots, connecting the front and back fabric. I continued all the way until the bottom opening was sealed.

Then I flipped my tshirt bag back and it was ready to use!

These little pumpkins are super budget friendly and you most likely already have all the materials at home! And if you don’t, the dollar store has fabric and foam pumpkins. You’ll need:

• Sweater
• Foam pumpkins (we got ours from the dollar store)
• Scissors
• Hot Glue
• Sticks or driftwood

How to Make No-Sew Sweater Pumpkins

Start by removing any stems or decorations that are on top of the foam pumpkins. You can also get carve-able pumpkins at the dollar store.

Cut a small hole at the top, make sure it doesn’t go down too deep as you will need some of the foam to hold your sweater into place. Put aside.

Next, cut your sweater apart by the seams.

Lay your pumpkin over top of the sweater and if you need to, cut any excess fabric. Start wrapping the sweater around the pumpkin.

Push the fabric down into the cut hole at the top. I thought that I would need hot glue for this part but the foam held the sweater in place!

At the end, I used my scissors to push down the sweater into the top. I gently pushed down as much fabric as I could. It helps tighten the sweater around the foam pumpkin and looked so good!

Next, hot glue a small stick or piece of driftwood to the top to make it look like a pumpkin stem.

Repeat for as many no-sew sweater pumpkins as you want to make!

These cozy little pumpkins are a perfect addition to any neutral fall decor! Display them next to this DIY thankful wood sign.

DIY Makeup Organizers

Tin can projects are one of my favourites. They’re budget friendly and you can get creative making organizers, vases, utensil holders or planters. For this you’ll need:

• Tin cans
• Fabric (large scraps, I got mine from the dollar store)
• Hot glue gun and glue sticks
• Scissors

Start off making your makeup organizers by making sure your tin cans are clean and have no sharp edges. Measure the fabric around your tin can and cut the piece you need.

Warm up your hot glue gun and add a line of glue down the side of your tin can.

Next, carefully glue one side of your fabric onto the tin can.

Add more hot glue as you are wrapping your fabric around the can.

Once you reach the end add another line of glue and press the fabric down. Do the same to your other tin can.

At this point you will probably have excess fabric at the top which you can cut, but I chose to bend it so that it fits inside the tin can.

Voila! You’re done! Now you just have to fill your makeup organizers with your makeup and put it where you want to display it. This project was so simple and took no time at all. So, save your tin cans and try this for yourself.
