Welcome to our blog! We are Iva and Charra, a married couple raising our two kids in Ontario Canada.
There’s a lot of love in our home. My husband grew up in our house and now we are raising our children here. And even though it holds a lot of great memories we want to change things and update the old parts. Follow us as we try to update our home on a budget, while we also simplify our life and family with homemade ideas, crafts and decor.
This is going to be a lot of fun because we are two very different people. When you hear the old saying “opposites attract,” it’s describing us exactly. What do you get when you match an introvert with an extrovert? A techie with a newbie? A dreamer with a realist? A minimalist with a collector? Even a person who loves color and a person who loves neutrals? We haven’t figured it out yet! We started this blog as a way to document our house projects, try new things and spend quality time together. So follow us on our journey of trying to make our differences work, keep our family organized and keep everyone happy.
One thing we can both agree on is that rekindling symbolizes the revival of our home and making it work for us. We want to spark up new ideas and create functional and fun projects for our whole family. We hope some of our ideas rekindle something in you! Enjoy our blog.
